Dr. Titilayo Kayode – Alabi

ABOUT ME

I am Dr. Titilayo Kayode-Alabi, a dedicated pediatrician, children's author, and advocate for holistic child well-being.

With over a decade of experience, I blend my medical expertise with a passion for writing and teaching to empower families and nurture “wholesome children” rooted in cultural pride, moral values, and overall well-being.

I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University Medical School and completed my residency at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. I am also a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP). Motivated by a desire to combat misinformation and improve access to specialized care, I founded Rootts Childcare, a platform offering practical guidance, inspiration, and support for parents.

As an author, I have written several engaging children’s books, including the “Medi-Tales“ series, which educates children about various medical conditions. I am currently developing Rootts Book Hub, a digital resource providing African literature for children across Africa and the diaspora.

In addition to my medical and literary pursuits, I serve as a children’s teacher in my church and participate in community outreach programs. My faith and commitment to uplifting families underpin all my endeavors.

Through my various roles and platforms, I am dedicated to fostering the health, happiness, and potential of every child I encounter, addressing their needs holistically – from physical health to education and moral development.

My Mission is to

empower families with knowledge, wisdom, and practical guidance for achieving holistic well-being, fostering cultural pride, and raising socially conscious, morally grounded children.
